I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you end up buying them?

I discovered mine on discount via Cettire and snagged them that way!

I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .

How expensive are they?

When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid golden goode $385.43, but their full price is around $514.

You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their design features.

Are they true to size?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.

They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size

Is the comfort worth it?

Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..

Do they hold up well?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Stunning.

Are they worth it?

Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also look great.

Do they fit as expected?

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up

Are they comfortable?

Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in.

How durable are they?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched.

Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
